PLEASE HELP US FIND A SUITABLE LOCATION FOR AN ALL YEAR ROUND NAPPAD SHELTER TO STOP OUR PEOPLE FROM SLEEPING ROUGH ON THE STREETS.
THERE IS A COMMON MISCONCEPTION THAT ALL HOMELESS PEOPLE ARE ALCOHOLICS OR DRUG ADDICTS, BUT THIS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. OF COURSE, SOME ARE BUT MANY ARE PEOPLE JUST LIKE YOU OR ME WHO FALL ON HARD TIMES.
NAPPADS
We are now searching for suitable locations on the edge of the city to put NAPpads on to accommodate the homeless.
I am very pleased to announce that Wakefield Council’s Homeless Department is now trying to help with our search and is looking for suitable land to place the first NAPpad in Wakefield.
